How we put our reviews together
We check every platform the same way before it goes on this page. First we look it up on the UK regulator’s public register to confirm its licence is current.
Then we use the site on a laptop, a tablet and a phone, over Wi-Fi and over mobile data. We note how quickly pages load, whether anything breaks or freezes, and how easy the rules are to understand. We also email or message support with a few questions and keep track of how long they take to reply and whether the answers help.
Each card on this page is a short summary of those notes, so you can compare platforms in a few minutes. Sites without a valid UK licence, or that fall short in our testing, are left out.
The site is free to read. Some operators pay us a fee when someone signs up through our links, but a platform still needs a valid UK licence to be listed.

What sets us apart
A list of names is easy to find. We go further and check the parts that usually only come to light after you’ve signed up.
Licence first
We confirm each platform holds current UK regulatory clearance on the regulator’s public register before looking at anything else.
Tested in practice
We measure load times, check how the layout holds up on phones and desktops, note any errors or crashes and time how quickly support responds.
Plain facts, no hype
Each card sums up what we observed about the interface, the software and the licence, without marketing language or offers.
Contact
Spotted something out of date, have a question about a review or want to suggest a platform we haven’t covered? We read every message. Operators interested in being reviewed can get in touch the same way.
How to reach us
We keep everything in one inbox so nothing gets lost. Write to us at:

When to expect a reply
Most messages get an answer within one to two working days. We’re around Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 UK time.
Thanks for stopping by.
Frequently asked questions
Some links on this page are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a fee from the operator. You pay nothing extra.
01What is wanderingsign.com?
An independent UK review site. We look at licensed online platforms, compare their interface, software and regulatory status on the same criteria and publish short, factual summaries.
02Does wanderingsign.com run any of these
platforms?
No. We don’t host any services, hold accounts or take payments. If you visit a platform, you deal with that operator directly on its own site.
03Do I have to pay or register?
Neither. Every review and comparison is open to read, with no account and no charge.
04How does the site make money?
Through referral fees. Some operators pay us when a reader signs up via our link. It costs you nothing, and it never gets an unlicensed site onto the page.
05How do I get in touch?
Email us with any question about our reviews, our links or this site:
Website: wanderingsign.com
E-mail: [email protected]
How we’re funded
wanderingsign.com costs nothing to read. To cover hosting, research and writing, we have referral agreements with some of the operators we review. Here is how that works.
What that means for you
Referral fees. If
you follow a link from this
site and open an account, the operator may pay us a commission.
The price and terms you get are the same as going to the site
directly.
Placement.
Commercial agreements can affect
the order in which platforms appear and how prominently they’re
shown. We say so openly so you can weigh the order
accordingly.
What stays fixed.
Licence status, interface
performance, software quality and support response times are
reported as we find them. A referral fee doesn’t change the
facts in a review.
Staying safe
Online entertainment should stay a small, enjoyable part of your week. These pointers help keep it that way.
01Adults only (18+)
- Age limit: This site and every platform on it are for people aged 18 and over.
- ID checks: Licensed UK operators must confirm your age and identity before you can use their services.
- Shared devices: If children use the same computer or phone, a content filter keeps these sites out of reach.
02Keeping it fun
Treat it as paid-for leisure, like a cinema ticket, not as a way to make money.
- Budget: Decide what you can afford before you start and only use money you won’t miss.
- Time: Set a timer and stop when it goes off, even if you’re enjoying yourself.
- Mood: Give it a miss when you’re tired, upset or have been drinking.
03When to take a step back
It may be time for a break if any of these sound familiar:
- You regularly go over the time or money you planned.
- You keep going to make up for money you’ve already spent.
- You feel restless or short-tempered when you try to cut down.
- You play down how much you spend to the people around you.
04Where to get help
Free, confidential support in the UK:
